If you are a Volkswagen Hazet collector this is about the pinnacle item you are looking for. This is a 1958 Hazet Volkswagen dealership 500 / 2500 suitcase tool box. This is what the Volkswagen dealerships would order so that their technicians could fully service any VW sold. This one is in amazing original condition. The box has the perfect amount of patina. Both of the latches still work as new. The wood on the handle is still there, complete, has the original black paint in great shape, & even has the tie for the paper tag that came with it from Hazet.
All tools are there. Most are still unused. It was missing some of the tools when I acquired it. I found all of the correct missing tools & put them in place.
I am only selling because I have another. I do not need to sell. Price is firm!
It is big & heavy. Keep that in mind when you ask for a shipping quote. I will not ship without full insurance. That will also be factored into the shipping cost. You are welcome to pick it up in person to save on Paypal fees & shipping cost.
