Engine support, solid type. Often called a traction bar. Required for all higher performance engines or even a stocker that will be subjected to drag race starts. Stops engine down thrust and prevents bending frame horns when making drag race starts. Often stops wheel hop on street cars with rubber mounts and eliminates it completely with our GB 640 and GB 641 mounts in race cars or as described in GB 643. All parts are plated. For cars through '67 (small bumper bracket) and late cars with shock type bumper brackets, complete with mounting brackets, bolts and nuts to attach to body, hanger bolts and extra heavy duty thick wall 1-1/2" box tube bar cut at an angle for maximum ground clearance at the ends. All parts zinc plated. Comes with understandable mounting instructions. Finish subject to change. NOT for sidewinder.
