1950s early bus stands for jack supports Barndoor Price: 200 €
Hi,
up for sale is a super rare set of stands for early busses. The design is quite interesting as you can lift up the bus and they use the jack stands, yet it allows you to lift the other side of your bus due to the rotatable bearing.
Story goes I purchased these from an older gentlemen who worked in a VW shop back in the 50s and they appear to be quite well made. Therefore, I‘d say they must be either a factory tool or were made in the dealership according to plans from the factory.
The pictures should illustrate the principle. I might add pics when I lift up the bus to show their height.
