Purchased by our family in 2006 already previously restored to it's current condition. Since then we've only added the safari windows and luggage rack.
Keeps the classic look with some non stock features being: Engine is a 1914cc dual carb. Runs fast and keeps up with traffic. Front brakes are disc. Porche Fuchs wheels, above sun visor light up instrument cluster showing battery, engine temp, oil pressure and RPMs. Gas guage, extra cabin light. Below dash electric heater and blower controls.
Comes with matching interior tool kit, hanging ladder, church key for gas tank and engine compartment, cup holder, truck bed loops and canvas cover.
Has always won first place at the numerous VW shows we've attended. Plus recognized in a couple of Hot VW magazines shown in video below.
