1965 Ghia Coupe paint restored, ready to be finish Price: 11,999

NEW PRICE : SPECIAL-
This is a 1965 Ghia Coupe, numbers matching (body and chassis), which has completed an Extensive paint/bodywork restoration. Car needs to be finished/re-assembled, and does NOT include an engine.
Body removed from chassis, ALL factory paint removed, and self-etching primer applied. Minimal bodywork was performed (this was originally an Arizona car). Epoxy primer applied, then professionally painted (inside & out). Paint is VW code LD1B, PPG 2-stage paint, and 4 coats of 2K clearcoat (wet sanded between coats) - All professionally applied. Body came out Gorgeous !
Chassis has been converted to IRS rear and Ball joint front end with lowered spindles. Has an aftermarket lowered beam, and 4 wheel disc brakes installed. Aftermarket pans properly installed. Properly painted with 2 coats black lacquer. The interior floor has 2 additional coats of bedliner for NVH protection.
Please understand- THIS is an INCOMPLETE PROJECT. I have all the glass, which will go with the body. I do have Some of the rubber components (front rear window rubber, hood, decklid ) but, I Do NOT have all the rubber components (which are easily sourced).
I DO have many of the other components (hardware, seats, etc.which are Not shown in pictures)needed to complete restoration, but whatever I have - would be available and included with the body/chassis. Just to be clear, many of these components are used and may need restoration themselves. Also, I DO NOT have EVERYTHING needed for a total restoration, but whatever I have for Ghias you are welcome to.i have been collecting parts for this car for several years.
Added restored stock rims, New 165/80R15 tires, mounted and balanced with new valve stems.
I recently acquired a black perforated vinyl headliner, bows, and windshield rubber, front and rear. Recently completed work on the full chassis restoration, and have permanently mounted to the body. Stainless Steel hardware used throughout !
I DO have a valid Massachusetts Title in my name, and will supply a bill of sale for the car also.
TheSamba only allows 18 pictures, but I have an Extensive amount of pictures showing the process to get to this point.
Car is located in Oxford, Massachusetts. Shipping is buyers responsibility. I do have a local friend with a trailer, who might be able to assist you with moving - but I cannot make any promises with regard to shipping.
Lastly, you will Not be disappointed. I’m a lifetime VW/paint & bodyman, but I have too many projects in the fire - so willing to pass this one on.
