If your bolt that holds your arm to the PopTop is spinning, rusted or hard to remove, this product is the answer. These stud plates are used to replace the speed nut and bolt that attach the arms to the base and ceiling. Center the plate over the hole and screw the plate to the top. As long as the wood behind the plastic/fiberglass base and ceiling are solid and not rotted, these plates will hold your arms securely. You will reuse the bushings, spacers and washers. You will have to purchase a 5/16" nut with a nylon lock to secure the arm to the plate.
