Rare Aug 1966 Sliding Door Bus Models Brochure Price: $125

Very rare, full color Transporter line brochure. Has a print date of 8/66 (August 1966).
Since new model production started in August, this may be correct for 1967 models? Who knows. From what I can see, the gas doors all show a chrome lock cover - last used in 1966.
The amazing thing about this brochure is that almost all Bus models shown have the optional sliding side cargo door! Very unusual.
There are 32 pages. Text is in English. It's more like a magazine.
Models shown are :
- Panel with regular cargo doors
- Double door panel with dual sliding doors
- Walk-through panel with sliding door
- Single cap
- Single cab wide bed
- Double cab
- Kombi with sliding door
- Standard micro bus with regular cargo doors
- Deluxe micro bus with sliding door
There's also a single page showing the various exterior colors that were available.
Overall condition is very good. Inside pages are clean - no handwriting or stains. There's some light handling wear and yellowing to the covers - nothing major. Both covers have an ink stamp that says "Please return to Engineering Dept. Commer Cars Ltd., Luton". Front cover also has a small "NOV 1966" ink stamp and someone has written "1967" in pencil in the upper right corner.
Super hard to find. This is one of the ultimate printed collectibles if you're a Bus nut.
Price is only $125 USD + $12 air mail to the USA (no tracking). International will be more.
It's heavy & will be shipped with a cardboard backing.
