Incredible project for those that are ready to do big build of the rarest of the rare.
BODY:
Needs full restoration to turn this into a typical 1946 again, as a typical DDR project a lot of parts have been swapped out to keep it on the road. The correct ’46 decklid was sourced by the previous owner so the hardest part to find is already there.
CHASSIS:
Early floorpans and cable brake tubes make this car unique. A later front axle is mounted and a later restored split beetle gearbox is mounted. We have a set of new 40s floorpans in stock that can be purchased as extra.
ENGINE:
The engine is a 30HP that turns, has several 25HP parts as can be seen in the pictures.
PAPERWORK:
German papers and birth certificate are included. The birth certificate shows a juli 1946 beetle that was delivered to Issue-Park. We’ve recently restored a ’46 beetle for the same destination and they are incredible cars.
