This is for one cover plate for the connection between the heater box and aluminum fan housing. These are used on all type 4 engines, as well as early air-cooled Vanagon. This is the shorter of the two plates, I can't remember what side that would be, please see the pictures. I have 4 of this side available, but unfortunately none of the other side. If you want all 4, I'd be willing to make a package deal. Buyer responsible for shipping fees.
