1985 Vanagon Westfalia Price: $25000
|
Full camper westfalia, with Gowesty 3 windows pop top tent.
Price has been recently reduced
Can sleep 4: sofa bed + pop top bed
2 Burners, sink, auxiliary battery, swivel front seats, 2 swiveling tables, 12V lighting, plenty of storage, Gowesty fridge delete kit to accommodate more shelving space, comes with a brown cooler that matches the vintage style of the van.
The van was raised with Gowesty springs and struts kit.
Wheels are 15 inches of the difficult to find Borbet brand, period correct and powder coated about a couple of years ago.
Front headlights have been upgraded to more powerful lights.
The instrument cluster circuit was replaced with a Gowesty kit and is now way brighter. Even the clock works. The tachometer is a bit noisy (still works fine) and will come with a brand new replacement cable for when it breaks.
Everything that needed changing has been changed. (Brakes, power steering, tie rods, boots, ball joints, bushings, throttle body, ignition switch, wheel bearings, filters, water pump, O2 sensor, distr. cap, rotor, sparks, wires, contacts, etc.) as well as regular oil changes. The van comes with extra spare parts.
The new transaxle with Peloquin LSD was installed by German Transaxle in Bend. The limited slip differential is the closest you can bring your van to a VW Syncro. This thing is amazing. Paired with its All Terrain 215/75 tires, the van never got stuck. It can easily climb or get itself out of mud and snow.
Clean title in my name.
