'62 Single Cab Gorgeously Restored - the Joy Maker Price: 49900

I call this my Joy Maker because everyone who sees it breaks into a big smile. Never planned to sell it but will be retiring to Europe and it's more than I want to take. Restoration finished in 2021 includes:
* All body repairs were made with original gauge steel from Klassic Fab, Wolfsburg West, or OEM VW.
* Professional fillers, primers and 2 stage paint. VW LY3D Tornado Rot (Tornado Red), and VW R902 Grauweiss (Gray-White).
* Bed, Treasure Chest, and floorboard sprayed with highly durable Raptor Liner.
* Full electrical resto using Wolfsburg West harnesses plus upgraded to 63-up to include 4 way flashers. High quality switches used either Wolfsburg West replacement or rebuilt or NOS VW.
* Concourse Quality Interior panels from Clara plus 3 point belts added with proper anchors installed during metal fab stage.
* 1835cc engine with dual ICTs and Freeway Flyer trans professionally built by Jason Douglas at Midwest Aircooled and Machine, the premier VW shop in the St Louis area.
* Creature comfort upgrades include backup camera, Retro Sounds radio and digital diesel heater.
* OEM VW frame mounted trailer hitch with standard Uhaul wiring and a step that makes it easy to get in and out of the bed.
* Custom Missouri oak stake side gates mounted using original VW hinges and latches so they fold and function as factory steel gates. Original gates are included if buyer wishes, but they are somewhat bent and rusted, and hinges are removed.
* M Code plate lists original color as a rare L456 Ruby Red factory paint code.
