Porsche 356 B T5 Roadster 1600 60 hp sold on December 23, 1960, to the famous Brumos Porsche dealership in Jacksonville, Florida, a legend in Porsche motorsports.
In Italy since the late 1980s, it has an incredible history that makes it unique.
Produced in limited numbers between late 1959 and early 1961 by the Drauz body shop, the Roadster is among the most coveted 356s. Little known even by Porsche enthusiasts, it is a rare collector's item.
The Roadster can be considered the final evolution of the Speedster, retaining the original features begun in October 1954 (a sportier body, simplified equipment, and soundproofing), but offering more comfortable driving thanks to padded seats and ascending glass windows.
With 2,180 units produced, compared to the 4,144 Speedsters, it is also rarer.
Completely restored by prestigious restorers, completed in 2024, it has only been driven 500 km to date.
In the elegant metallic silver color scheme with a red leather interior, like the 1948 Porsche 356 No. 1, it is in concours-worthy condition.
Registered with Italian plates, it is ready for transfer or export.
Comes with Kardex, Porsche Certificate of Origin, and ASI/FIVA certificates.
I would consider a partial exchange of my choice, only for cars visible in Italy, preferably Porsche 964, 993, 996, 997 pre-2005, or a car that participated in the 1927-57 Mille Miglia.

Porsche 356 B T5 Roadster 1600 60 cv venduta il 23 Dicembre 1960 alla famosa concessionaria Brumos Porsche di Jacksonville, in Florida, leggenda del motorsport targato Porsche.
In Italia dalla fine degli anni 80, ha una storia incredibile che la rende unica.
Prodotta in pochi esemplari fra la fine del 1959 e l'inizio del 1961 dalla carrozzeria Drauz, la Roadster e fra le 356 più ambite, poco conosciuta anche dagli amanti del marchio Porsche, e un raro pezzo da collezione.
La Roadster può essere considerata come l'ultima evoluzione della Speedster in quanto conserva le originarie caratteristiche iniziate nell'ottobre del 1954 (carrozzeria più sportiva, semplificata nell'equipaggiamento e nell'insonorizzazione) ma più comoda da usare grazie ai sedili imbottiti e ai finestrini in vetro ascendenti.
Prodotta in 2180 esemplari contro le 4144 Speedster e quindi anche più rara.
Sottoposta a restauro totale da prestigiosi restauratori terminato nel 2024, ad oggi ha percorso solo 500 km.
Nell'elegante combinazione di colori argento metallizzato con interni in pelle rosso come la Porsche 356 n. 1 del 1948, si presenta in condizioni da concorso.
Immatricolata con targhe italiane e pronta da passaggio o per esportazione.
Corredata di Kardex, Certificato d'origine Porsche, certificati ASI e CRS a libretto.
