RLR 1in Trans Raise Kit, #474, Type 1 Applications raises the engine & transmission, which lowers the body of your car and maintaining proper rear wheel alignment! This is MUST for FAST cars with swing axles! RLR (Ron Lummus Racing) is Ron Lummus's shop, and he's a fabrication master specializing in our beloved VWs. This kit provides solid mounting of the trans axle, AND raises it to fix the wheel alignment issue when lowering the car a lot.
This kit includes front and rear mounts, a locator mount, as well as extended trans axle studs. These solid mounts help eliminate wheel hop, and they help prevent trans axle breakage. The mid mount is a weld-in design, it is NOT bolt in!
