69 VW Squareback, AKA Variant, made in what was then West Germany
Painted BMW Imperial Blue Metallic, inside and out
A host of new parts and accessories (e.g., complete A/C system, side marker lights, leather seats...on & on), have been replaced/installed.
Brake Lights and Turn Signals do not work properly.
Antenna fitted, but not properly.
Driver's Door has been replaced with an earlier year door sometime in the life of the car.
Placed for category at Bug-a-Palüza 2024 in Chattanooga, TN.
Most, if not all, receipts are available for the many, many parts replaced. NOS and OEM parts were obtained, when available (e.g., Meyle, Bosch). Parts were obtained from ISP West, JBugs, California Import Parts (Cip1), West Coast Metric, SoCalautoparts, Wolfsburg West, M&T Manufacturing, FCP Euro, CB Performance (Alternator), Heritage Parts Centre, Gilmore Enterprises, Pacific Parts International, and others.
New 3/4 floorboards, both sides, welded in by Sal’s Tire and Auto Repair in Memphis, TN.
Clear Tennessee Title in my name.
