We have reproducted the tail light rim of the early Karmann Ghia Lowlight.
The rims we have reproduced are the early type with separate rim and lens, and can be installed on vehicles up to body number 24780 (October '57).
(Late type is an one-piece.)
Due to the nature of its shape and material, the original rim is easily cracked at the screw holes,
There are many cases where the lenses have been replaced with the later type.
Our reproduction is based on the 3D data of the original,
We repeated prototyping many times to complete the product.
The material is stainless steel, which is stronger than the original, and manufactured using the latest technology called metal 3D printing,
and finished with chrome plating as in the original.
