Early steering wheel lock
Here we got something really special. This steering wheel lock was designed by VW for the model 1961 only. You could use it for any Beetle up to 1967, but looking at the specific features it was intended to be mounted in 1961 Beetles: the electrical connections are the modern “plug design” which was introduced with the model 1961 (before screw design). The 1962 Beetle came (at least in Germany) with a steering wheel lock as a regular feature (not an option anymore) and the 1962 steering lock had a very different look (but technically the same).
So, this lock here is pretty unique and rare. It comes with ONE original VW key and it´s yours for EUR 200,-- including shipping to any country in Europe. Shipping to overseas possible on request.
