New brakes in 2023 thats new brake lines, new ebrake cables, new wheel cylinders, new master, nos drums for front..
Lights work converted to 12v, new bulbs in rear and new restored headlights
Rebuilt 1200 engine
Floors are new in 2022,
Decent frame
Solid rocker panels , solid cargo area , doors have locks , in overalL a decent bus. straight
Has that cool patina look
Created and painted as volksart
Has westy zbed and camping interior recently new headliner and interior panels in august 2025
Was using as movie prop
Drives on to trailer ok, to make it to events and camping

The story behind this bus believe it or not..
This 1962 Bus Jerry is originally from Hamburg Germany . Early in his life He had the tourist delivery package. Jerry as a 60s hippy got to drive all over europe, The original owners got to travell to europe to meet him and travel all over europe in the 60s as a dealer package. After his back pack trip through europe he was shipped here and drove all over canada and us to make his final stop on the way back to southern ontario up north near timmins ontario in 1971 where his clutch broke..sadly at the time they werent able to get a new clutch in a pinch instead of postponing there vacation and missing work . the couple who had it pushed Jerry the bus up the lanely of a farm in northern ontario area and an agreement was struck with the local farmer and it sat from 1971 to the 90s on the promise they would pick it up someday at the farm.. somehow it ended up at an auction lot in hamilton.. where it sat from I think 1993 when i went to first see it and asked will you sell it and the guy said yeah once i move the other cars and it sat there till 2020 when i
finally was able to save it from the crusher.. In the last 4 years i spent a lot of time trying to bring it back in shape as its a pretty rare ,model.. not to many 1962 in ontario . Jerry is looking pretty good and has most of the correct 1962 only parts. This would be a great bus to add to your bus collection with its 6 month only parts.
Jerry is very unique runs good after i replaced the clutch like new. the power of 40hp shifts ok./
I think the owner rebuilt the engine in 2019 or something its like new. no mileage on it
Jerry the bus has the rare euro tailghts and low hinge 62 only doors and rare 62 only rims all 4. actually one rim i had to buy from the yukon to get a matching set.. The dash has its correct 1962 2 month only speedometer thanks to someone in california, It has new floors and lots of new metal. Jerry has his correct rebult 1962 engine with air cleaner. Its a great patina looking bus. I spent extra time to get patina bumpers. It be cool to drive asis..
The bus does include some new window rubbers in the box and other parts
Has wood interior panels and custom metal frame front wood bench seat.. has custom patina painted paint job, custom patina looking rims, and custom rear corners that look rusty but aren't..
yes it does have battery trays and yes he does have a floor
overal decent bus for a daily driver..if you like that patina look
will require a few things to pass a safety i would guess..
