Up for sale is a brand new, never been used, steering box for BRAZILIAN buses. This will NOT fit a German made bus.
Most of the buses that are on the road have never had the steering box replaced. That applies to all buses. However, with German buses there are rebuilt units available. This is not the case for the steering boxes in Brazilian units.
I always advise to start from the inexpensive and work your way up from there, meaning, change out your swing lever pin first, then the drag link, then the tie rod assemblies. If this doesn't change your steering woes, THEN change out your steering box.
This steering box is very hard to come by and I don't want to sell it to someone whom has not changed out the previously mentioned items and is unhappy with the steering box performance. It's not the box that's the problem, it's the combination of the other worn out parts. Change it all out, and you'll be amazed with the results.
