1956 Single cab, original dry Arizona Bus. This single cab has some incredible patina! a few areas have a little more than patina but is 100% solid where it counts!
This bus drives great and has been completely gone through mechanically, 1600dp with new 34 pict 3 and new generator, fan, volt regulator. rebuild cast distributor and battery. New clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing.
It has a freeway flyer swing axle with straight axle conversion and thing rear brakes, all new brakes, shocks, cables. The original frame and chassis is in amazing condition, frame rails have been re painted dove blue.
front suspension is a 4" narrowed beam with rebuilt flipped spindles and all new brakes, shocks, tie rods, drag link etc. rebuilt steering bow. Wheels have been color matched in Dove blue with new tires. Kuhmo 175/55/15 front and 185/55/15 rear.
The exterior of the bus has incredible patina showing the original primer throughout. lower rockers and various areas have holes in outer skin. previous repairs dating back to the early 1960's can be seen in nose and on drivers dog leg.
The interior cab area wears original paint, a correct re upholstered front bench seat, original door cards, ambulance fans and a speedwell wood steering wheel. working fuel gauge as is all electrical, signals, brakes etc. the original bed floor has Oak strips.
