The double ender was originally a pre 67 beetle, 6V, white, originally had red lights in the front of one end as brake lights. Spent a lot of its time in the early days at Manly Repair Centre/Manly Volkswagen Centre. Over time it started to look a bit sad so was updated by using two 1500 beetles.
Basically it's a 1500 beetle with pre 67 beetle doors & door glass. 12V, 1500 motor, normal 1500 running gear, disc brakes on front, drums on the rear (which front is the rear?) Michelin XZX 165/15 tyres, chrome dress rings.
Both doors open & lock, both fronts open & lock.
Vehicle runs. Brown seen in photos is fish oil not rust.
