1959 Mango Standard - Original Paint Price: $4400/$3800

1959 Mango Standard with plenty of original paint/patina and rust.
Metal work needed - Frame sections, cross members, front floor, cargo floor, jack points, lower 12+ inches, front door lower hinges, lower nose, etc. Please look at all the pictures, if you don't see something I will gladly take more pictures for serious buyers.
Tail lights are Wolfsburg West except for the original buckets, rear bumper blade is German, but I painted it and dirtied it up a bit to match the bus. Rear bumper mounts and bars are OG as is the entire front bumper. The interior panels are all original to the bus, the drivers side long panel was wrecked(arm rest are darn nice) and will need replacement as will the front kick panels, but all three of those are included. All the glass is original to the bus, except for the drivers wing, which is earlier than 59. Front seat is original and in good shape, plenty of pictures of that in the gallery.

I have a friend that can do the necessary metal work on this bus here locally, if that's the road you want to go down. He has a split bus frame jig, 180- and 360-degree rotisseries and the skill to make it happen. He has done numerous threads on split buses on this site, search for Burlyhammer aka Dave aka Type 2 Rescue, to see his work. The new owner of the bus and I can work out a price for me to trailer the bus over to Dave's place, if you want him to work on it.

Very worthwhile early bus to spend the money and time on to get back on the road, I have enough projects at the moment so this one is ready for a new owner. Bus rolls and steers for loading. I will include the rims that came with the bus, but a few of the pictured rims/tires will be replaced with other ones.
Paperwork - I can get Maine registration and plates which act as the new Title for the bus. Because of the age, Maine does not issue new Titles. I have sold VW's worldwide and have never had issues from buyers who try and get them into a country or register it in their state.

This is not a fire sale, I have the room to just keep it, so no dumb offers. I do have references from buyers and you can check my Feedback for folks that have bought vehicles and parts from me over the years.
Lastly, I will not part out this bus. The apron is not for sale, nor is anything else, sorry. Bus will be sold as a whole unit with paperwork.
