1984 Vanagon Price: $6000 obo
|
I bought this Vanagon in 2007 as a utility vehicle for my pottery. Hauling clay and transporting my display booth and inventory to shows and Farmers' Markets. Early on I had to install a rebuilt engine, which has performed flawlessly ever since. For me, it was a super large motorized wheelbarrow. Most of my shows were local, and I've put less than 20,000 miles on the engine over 17 years. Still runs great, but I'm getting to where I have little use for it. No longer doing shows since the Pandemic. I'll turn 80 this year and don't need the exposure. While it performed well last month driving to Tacoma for 1000 pounds of clay (250 miile round trip), it could use some attention in several areas.
One missing hub cap, outer sliding door handle broken, Windshield cracked, Rear bumper bent, Odometer has stopped working, Air conditioning has never been functional (I never felt the need for it in Western Washington)
