This is a 1952 MG TD kit car based on a 1969 beetle chassis, super beetle trans, 1966 beetle 1500cc engine.
This is the first car I bought. I love this little gal, but I am moving in the next year and I think I should try to get rid of it. There are no major problems, at least that I know of (I am not a VW expert, but honestly haven’t had any issues).
I have done loads of work on this car, and it runs and drives. In fact, anyone who is interested can drive it with no problems. It handles the roads around here just fine and will go up to 60+ with ease.
It’s got new tires, brand new clutch components, new carb, new distributor, new coil, freshly wired, new fuse box, refinished the fly wheel, 12v converted, new fuel lines, new tin, resealed the transmission + cleaned everything, good motor end play, new shift coupler, fog lights, new battery, and much more.
I am looking for this car to go to someone who will take care of her. She is a head turner, and gets lots of attention.
