Custom right hand drive beetle
It is a fun and unique car to drive, a real head turner. I have well over $12,500.00 in it.
Disc brakes on all corner, new and complete system.
Pan has been powder coated. All rust repaired on pan.
Body is straight and solid.
Factory installed sunroof.
remote door opener.
Stock 1600 just rebuilt, and carburetor was rebuilt too, that runs.
New battery - 8 months ago
2" narrowed front beam with adjusters.
Clean AZ title.
Car has been converted to right hand drive.
Pop out windows have sandblasted Australian VW logo and kangaroos. New rubber installed - both glass to frame and outer frame. They are also powered pop outs.
Trim has been shaved.
Fender turn signals have been shaved.
Headlight are 3 chambered, parking light, headlight, and turn signal all in one light
Gas door has been shaved and moved to middle of the front deck lid. gas tank has not yet been modified to make the new gas door functional.
Door handles have been shaved.
Seats are from 1998 Dodge neon.
New wiring harness from Watson Streetworks installed.
Rear turn signals have Euro style lenses.
It will need running boards and the interior finished. Has new switches in dash.
The bad:
Minor damage on the front apron. have replacement apron
Front deck lid has been hit. Have replacement hood
Sun roof mechanics need some repair. It opens and closes but will not seal shut.
Had an engine fire, carburetor burned up, the rest of the engine was not damaged, so the body has minor warpage but still looks good overall. Engine has been rebuilt.
rear tail lights work but need new lenses replaced.
power windows in the front doors not working properly.
needs a front end alignment. its close but not perfect.
Transmission is from a type 3, but lost 1st and 2nd gears.
Engine and transaxle are currently out of the car.
