1990 T4 transporter (Eurovan style) syncro 2.4L 5 cylinder AAB diesel engine with a turbo, 5 speed manual transmission. I got this van stock from someone that had imported it from Germany. I did the following upgrades: new cylinder head, turbo/manifolds/ect from ACV engine, boost and EGT gauges, new boost sensing injection pump (LDA), new 155 bar injectors, I have a intercooler but have not installed it yet, wheels and BF Goodrich AT tires, rear hitch spare tire holder, Westphalia weekender roof/ rear bench seat bed/ front seats, Bilstein shocks, tinted windows, stereo/speakers, cabinets, inverter/house battery, 2kw diesel heater, Thule roof rack,
The van handles great and is fun to drive. There is some rust in the typical places. It started having issues starting that progressed to the point where it will only roll start when it is cold. 376,600 km.
