Camping Ready, All Major Updating Completed! Price: 32500

PRICE REDUCED! (06/27/25) I have a recent appraisal (done by John Kinzl 7/24) for $38,500. I’m asking the $32,500. Newer bigger rebuilt engine (GoWesty 2.3 L installed by Peace Vans) has 30,000 miles and transmission (installed by German Transaxle) about 5,000 miles. All set up with solar for disperse camping and new truck fridge and propex heater. Lots of other upgrades and extras (full, organized 3 ring binder with receipts). A very fun and iconic van to camp in.
It is an automatic. I am the 3rd owner (since 2016) and completed all the upgrades. I brought it to Peace Vans in Seattle to update the van with anything it needs for me to drive cross country and back safely. I have two and a half pages of those upgrades which included the 2.3 L GoWesty engine. In January, 2023, I had the transaxle replaced by German Transaxle in Bend. The 3 window tent was upgraded by Peace Vans. Truck fridge with propex heater installed. Solar set up for a plug in suitcase. The van has been meticulously maintained by Keep Trucking Garage here in Portland. A new aluminum expansion tank (GoWest product) was installed this winter, no more expansion tank fails!
The body is good for a 35 year old vehicle. It does have some (surface) rust on the kitchen side and a couple spots in seams.
This is a Canadian van so the mileage is in km but adjusted to miles it has about 185,000 miles, 30,000 miles on new engine and less than 5,000 miles on the transaxle. It is always plugged in so both the engine battery and solar battery is topped off with an installed trickler. Blaze cut installed.
The van fires up quickly on the first crank. The van also has a kill switch to discourage it being stolen. Another recent upgrade was a new radiator and third brake light in back window. Like I say, I have a large 3-ring binder of all itemized receipts (I’m a retired teacher!). My receipts total up to more than the asking price. You will never get a better deal!
There may be wiggle-room in the price.
