Restored
Super low mileage Rust Free Texas Full Camper with Poptop in very good condition. Seats and sleeps 4 . Swivel front captain’s chairs, dual tables can be used separately or together for a larger dining area. Full kitchen with two burner propane stove, fridge/freezer, sink with cold water faucet. Outdoor shower, drawer and cabinet storage and rear cabinet for hanging clothes. Second rear house 12 volt battery that is recharged when plugged in to 110 volt exterior power and by the alternator.

49,000+ original miles on this van. All original paint, no damage history. I am the third owner and have service/repair history and Carfax to document miles. The camper had been parked for 3-4 years when I purchased it. I learned about it and decided to purchase and restore it for future camping trips. I have spent the last 4 years sorting out every issue and Priorities have changed (I purchased a second home in Colorado), so I completed the restoration as I had originally envisioned it, and am now offering it for sale. Considerable time and money has been invested in returning this van to its current state and I often get complements on it when I drive it. My preference is that a potential buyer come and see the van in person or perhaps have a local VW club person come and check it out for you or pre-purchase inspection.

Here is a listing of all the work completed over the course of the last 4 years.

Notes: All glass is excellent. Carpet and floor coverings are all excellent. All upholstery is in excellent condition, no rips, no tears, no worn spots. Also No tears or holes in the pop top,....one of the prior owners did have matching material patches sewn over where the hinges had created some wear spots and they have a factory appearance to them.

Engine is smooth and quiet original Audi 2.5 liter inline 5 cylinder engine which are known to be capable of 250,000-300,000 or more miles,... Transmission shifts as it should. These 5 cylinder engines do NOT have timing chains that are prone to failure on the VR6 engines, and the transmissions have also proven to be very robust. There are some of these still in service with over 300,000 miles. If you have looked at a few of these, and then look at mine,.......you will truly appreciate this camper and all the work that has been done.

I would prefer that interested parties come look at it and drive it in person,....or at a minimum,...have a friend or a perhaps a local club member come look at it and drive it.
