This incredibly unique and pristine Dove Blue (L31) “Luke’s Surf Shop” bus is for sale! I don’t know who is going to miss it more, me or all of my neighbors here in El Dorado Hills, CA (near Sacramento). Everybody loves it! Not only is it beautiful, it will definitely put a smile on your face! It is truly special and somebody is going to get one of the nicest driving and most reliable buses available anywhere! It literally needs nothing to the best of my knowledge and can be enjoyed immediately! A little history: Until my purchase in 2022 from the third adult owner, this 1970 bus spent its entire life in sunny Southern California. Since it was re-painted in 2012, it has been garaged 24/7 and has never been washed or driven in the rain. It has no dings, and virtually no chips to speak of, including on the original, perfect nose and bumpers! The paint actually looks like it was completed 12 months ago, not 12 years ago! Of course, it helps that it has only been driven about 2,000 miles over the past decade by old people! LOL!
The interior is beyond cool - it is so clean, so well executed, and so well thought out. It is definitely one of a kind! Mechanically, it runs, drives, and shifts like new! It’s amazing!
