1971 Karmann Ghia original 1600 engine runs great!
I bought it not too long ago with the intention to sell. I have replaced the carburetor the fuel pump the plug wires and the plugs and all the fuel line change the oil and adjusted the valves.
The car is all original with the exception of the eight spoke wheels and the paint job the original color is a dark blue.
The interior is all original still has the original seats and door panels headliner Etc. They all show 50 plus years of wear.
The body is straight and the bumpers front and back are both still there. The passenger side rear quarter shows some Bondo cracks. The back of the deck lid near the license plate also has some Bondo falling off of it.
The floor pans and Rockers are very solid with no visible signs of rust I can jack it up and take more detailed pictures.
In the engine bay there is a couple of small rust holes in the rear apron due to battery corrosion.
The car runs and drives and stops and the electrical system all works including the horn and dome light. Although I have adjusted and bled the brakes they are still a little spongy and possibly will need some brake work.
The engine does not leak any oil. It has a Sony amfm radio CD player that works well, the fresh air vents operate and the heat works. $7,500 cash or PayPal.
