1969 Street Custom VW Bug. Full on restoration back in 1990, with a refresh in 2023.
Highlights of the car include front disc brakes, rear air shocks, lightly bored out 1600 cc, with new in 2023 Weber carb plus a complete re-tooling of brake system, gas tank and lines, electric gas pump, brakes, etc. In 1990, the car was taken apart, all panels put back on but welded as one piece, no seams. Pan was coated, and details tip to tip, done well but done so the car is driveable daily, it's not a trailer queen. Door cards are mahogany, with textured custom interior, body panel pinstriping to match too, back in the day custom stereo with all speakers hidden, front gas shocks, rear air shocks, the list goes on.
Been in our family since 1971, was shown many times in the 1990's, won every time in street custom category. Its time for it's next chapter and new master.
