Cool & Uniquely Restored 1972 T2 Camper Van Price: $25000 CAD obo

Owned and Loved for 20 Years
Restored her once 20 years ago and once again over the last 2 years and we now are reluctantly selling her. She has been kept covered while parked at home the entire time we've had her and only driven in the spring, summer, and fall. She has been maintained regularly and well cared for. We just installed a new/rebuilt 2.0L engine which runs great and solved a lot of speed/power issues that these buses tend to have. To sell her we restored and fixed several mechanical and cosmetic parts so she is in top form. She was completely stripped inside and out and carefully put back together. An excellent daily driver with LOTS of cool features. Not only does she run like a dream and has a lot of power (no problem going up steep hills in 4th gear) she has an amazing sound system and puts on an incredible light show! Inside and out! You will drive her and fall in love instantly. You'll be amazed at how she wants to drive and how well she handles.
She is camperized. All her furniture has been painstakingly refurbished and the cushions reupholstered. As well as the floor, and the side and ceiling panels. Her Pop-top has been removed. In it's place is a piece of sliding poly-carb so you can see the stars while lying down and also a removable weatherproof custom canvas top that snaps tightly in place, made by a professional fabric designer who specializes in marine canvas. She doesn't have every camper feature anymore, but she is still very comfortable to spend the night in.
She has a mat-black finish due to her being painted with chalk-board paint. Meaning you can draw on her whatever designs you wish. Kids love it and it's a huge hit at car shows. While you can draw anything you want, once you erase it all, she looks very sharp with just the black paint itself. All her body work was professionally completed and was very minimal. She isn't perfect. There's always some touch ups that can be done. But although she's very unassuming and kind of plain to look at by the first glance, behind it all she's much more. Not just a gimmick bus with lights and sounds, she is a solid reliable bus with a new engine, new brakes and a plethora of other mechanical parts. She is well maintained and wants to be on the road. And when parked, she can party like no other. We love her but we need the money more than the van right now. So we are selling her at a very VERY reasonable price.
