1987 VW Synco Vanagon 4wd (double knob)
Freshly installed 2.5 Subaru motor using Van Cafe/RMW conversion kit and wiring harness. Subaru motor came from a 2002 Outback with 97k miles. I had the heads resurfaced, installed new head gaskets, timing belt, water pump, main seal, intake gaskets, exhaust gaskets etc…
Will easily go 65-70 up hills and feels zippy around town!

Van is in good shape except for some body rust shown in photos. Has Propex heater, inverter and an rv battery that was replaced last year.
