T1 Freedom Camper from 1963 (1964 model)
This camper is rust-free and rock-solid! You won't find them like this anymore.
This deluxe 13-seater has been converted into a Freedom Camper, making it a comfortable way to camp.
All cabinets are present, and the Hehr windows open and close easily (some with a little help).
The popular L53 Sealing Wax Red combined with L472 beige-grey, both in 95% original paint, gives this camper a true survivor look.
It was originally delivered in Philadelphia, USA, and ordered with M-code 130, meaning it's a Samba but without the roof option (a VW certificate is included), along with a wealth of documentation showing the camper has always been serviced (Materson Motors VW, Ventura, California).
This reconditioned 1600, which has only done 5,000 km since 2016, handles traffic smoothly with its original gearbox.
It's only missing the rear bumper trim.
In short, a perfectly healthy van that you simply have to get in and drive.
Lots of photos of the underside are available... via private message.
Trade-ins for older air-cooled VWs are possible (split beetle/oval/Karmann).
Delivery and inspection can be discussed alongside the vehicle. The vehicle can be viewed in Wevelgem.
