Make offer. This bug comes with a cool story, and a birth certificate (see pic). While the car arrived in San Fransisco (maybe Haight-Ashbury wink) on June 7, 1957, the Oval shipped to Knievel Imports Butte, Montana - yes, Evel Knievel's grandfather, Ignatius, started the prominent dealership in the ‘50's, which specialized in Volkswagen and Porsche cars. Original Dealer service sticker inside door (see pic).
Exterior:
6 Volt, 4 Cylinder, 1.2 Liter/30 hp, 4-speed manual, Horizon Blue (interior remains original paint).The paint is primer. Currently in the process of sanding and priming the roof. Definitely, no rust-through, including the heater channels and the pans. Extensive time spent correcting, and reviving the correct circuitry for operative lighting.
Interior:
Original flooring (carpet, rubber, etc.) in excellent shape (see pic), original Horizon Blue paint excellent condition, all instruments intact and in excellent condition, minor work required headliner and rear seat/lower front near battery
