It’s time to find a new road warrior for my beloved 1985 Volkswagen Vanagon 1.9L because I am looking to move from 2 vehicles down to 1. This manual transmission beauty has been my faithful companion for the past 10 years, cruising through countless spring and summer days.
While this van is not a Westfalia, the rear seat folds down into a queen-size bed—perfect for cozy nights under the stars + tons of storage room. Custom made curtains and vinyl plank flooring make the van a cozy home on wheels.
This classic is 40 years old, so it's got some quirks and challenges (of course) but the body is almost entirely rust free and I've been driving it over the summers only and parking it over winters! I’ve got a Google Doc with all the professional work and the DIY projects I’ve tackled over the 11+ years that I've owned it. Interested? I’ve got more info and photos for serious inquiries. Reasonable offers welcome.
