For sale is a very rare and tested working Sapphire II AM/FM radio. Radio works great on either AM or FM. *Please note* that the preset buttons don’t seem to recall stations. This can probably be fixed but it obviously doesn’t affect the usability of the radio much at all. The buttons do work to switch between FM and AM. The light also doesn’t seem to work, for whatever it’s worth. Radio is very clean and in great shape, with ivory buttons and knobs. Has an early Bus / Ghia faceplate on it which is rare and valuable itself, but you can throw a Beetle faceplate on it to suit your application. All wires are intact with terminals. $500 shipped within mainland USA.
