Very Cool 1969 Bay Window Price: 20,000

Featured on the front cover of September 2014's edition of VW Camper & Bus magazine.
Known as the "Bang Bus", this early 1969 micro-bus has been recently updated both inside and out, offering a fresh interior and two new front seats professionally installed by Bromsgrove Auto Trimmers.
It's Savannah beige, with faux patina white roof has been very much loved and looked after since I purchased it in 2014, and I have spent many days, even weeks updating it's parts and features.
ENGINE
(installed 2015) rebuilt in 2019
Runs fantastically and has never let me down in the time i've had it since new.
- NEW 1776 motor.

One off custom bigtech shifter
WELDING
In 2016, the following welding was done:
- Front inner and outer valance
- Both rear lower corners
- Both rear arches
- Lower half was blown back in.
INTERIOR
(December 2016)
- New front seats.
- New rear bench/rock n roll bed.
- New front door cards.
All designed to match the van's Savannah Beige exterior.
Finished off in 2019 at bromsgrove

EXTERIOR
- original mooneys Speedmaster wheels
- Yellow head light lenses, with grills.
- CSP discs brakes up front, installed just 2 years ago.
- CSP drums at the rear. these were installed back in October last year and done less than 50 miles
- NEW backing plates, shoes, and all other internal parts replaced for new.
- NEW rear wheel bearings.
- NEW adjustable rear shocks.
- Adjustable creative engineering narrowed king and link pin beam for extra lows.
- Adjustable spring plates at rear.
There are a few minor updates this classic bus needs:
- The heaters have been deleted, so only blow cold air. This could be returned back to stock.
- The fuel gauge isn't working but after investigation, I believe the issue to be in the sender in fuel tank.

This bus turns heads everywhere, you can guarantee, smiles, waves and a conversation at a petrol station on every excursion! It's Tax and MOT exempt, costs next to nothing to insure and is only going up in value. You can't have weekend fun in many investments!
