Complete restoration completed in 2013. Body and pan soda blasted, new pans epoxy coated. Any damaged body metal was replaced. Body then rotisserie painted inside and out. The fuel filler and antenna were so smoothed over (gas tank now fills under hood). The metal seams were leaded, old school style. The lead and flux reacted with the paint causing some waviness and bubbling (look closely at the left rear fenders). Dynamat installed on inside so the car rides quietly.
All rubber seals on the doors, glass, hood, Decklid, and lights were replaced with new.
Seats are twill, carpet TMI, gauges VDO, everything in like new condition. GPS speedometer installed.
Engine is a 2180 built with a new aluminum case, powered with dual Spanish made Weber IDF carbs, electronic ignition, vintage Speed exhaust system for lowered Ghias. Transaxle rebuilt with a Superdiff. Mileage since restoration approximately 3500. New tires installed about 50 miles ago.
Narrowed beam and it 2.5" lowered spindles. 4 wheel disk brakes with parking brake. Hydraulic clutch.
Car starts right up, sounds great, drives great and stops on a dime.
Engine and drivetrain 10/10, interior 9/10, paint 6/10.
Happy to send more pics or FaceTime with buyers.
