1986 Vanagon Syncro Price: 10000
|
1986 VW Vanagon all wheel drive Syncro Hardtop. Has two Knobs for the Syncro, 1 for the locking rear diff (functional), one for the "on the fly" engagement of the all wheel drive. 2.8 Liter Chevy V-6 conversion with KEP Kennedy Engineering Products adapter.
New Viscous Coupler rebuilt for Sport Mode (Most aggressive model) from German TransAxel Bend Oregon, New on the fly air locker/decoupler from Go-Westy, New CVC axels in front, fresh synthetic oil in Transaxel, 80% tread tires, Ravin stainless steel performance exhaust. Engine was purchased new from local Chevrolet dealer as a long block and has less than 2000 miles on it. Professionally installed by a VW mechanic. New Bosch alternator, and Fuel pump. New universal joints and spare slip joint drive line as well as spare wiper/turn indicator wiring and control. Body has some rust in the normal areas for these vehicles (Surface at body panel seams) but has been in Mt. it's whole life so no salted roads. Glass is good, body has a few dings. Had this since 1999, purchased with a blown engine and had the conversion engine work done. Would like to keep it, but I have to down size and sell vehicles. Odometer cable broken at 123K, but wasn't working when I got it, Iv'e put less than 2K miles on this vehicle. Clear title and price is firm as I may end up parting it out if I don't find a person who understands these vehicles and gives it the attention it deserves. Would be happy to answer any question serious inquiries may have.
