How's it going everyone, Up for sale is our 1969 VW Bus
The bus is in the middle of getting the bodywork done because the plan was to get the body as straight as possible, using as little filler as possible, and painting it. So far the rear passenger side corner is done and the engine bay is painted already.
Some things that have been done already include:
-brake fluid reservoir, brake fluid fill tube, new grommets, and fluid
- spark plugs, cables, distributor,
- Rear brakes have been gone through with new hardware, rear wheel cylinders, drums have been cut, and new brake shoes, and soft lines have been installed
- 2 new rear axles
- New clutch and accelerator cable
-new motor and trans mounts
- tank has been cleaned and added a new filler tube and float level
- shifter has been completely rebuilt with a shit rod bushing kit
- converted from a generator to an alternator
-converted it to a dog house style fan shroud with oil cooler.
- Carburetor has been cleaned
- engine tins and fan shroud, intake tubs, valve covers, and pulleys have been prepped and painted.
- New Grey colored empi 5 spoke wheels with brand new tires
There is also 1.25 gallons of paint that will be included to respray the whole thing. The reason for us stopping halfway is that an opportunity came up, and we can either sell the Bus as it currently sits (body-wise) and running and driving, or if a buyer wants us to continue the body work and paint the whole thing, we can talk about doing that too. The engine and trans ARE NOT in the bus right now, but if we reach a deal we can have it back in running and driving in a couple days. Asking price for the bus as is, but running and driving is $11,500, but if you want it painted as mentioned, we can talk about that as well. We are located in Wilmington, CA 90744.
