1982 Vanagon Westfalia with Full Subaru Conversion Kit – For Sale
Selling my 1982 Vanagon Westfalia, complete with the full Subaru conversion kit. All you need is a 2.5L Subaru engine to complete the upgrade. The conversion kit is from Rocky Mountain Westy, and I have a full manual on how to do the conversion yourself.
I've owned this van for the past four years and had big plans to convert it for van life. Unfortunately, I haven't had the tools, resources, or support to make it happen.
The van is in great condition for its age, and the original engine still runs! but only if you hold the key in place. The problem is the ignition switch, and I bought the part already. I plan to fix it myself soon. She's in fairly good condition for her age, with solid bones. Little rust.
The Subaru conversion would make it far more reliable—perfect for road trips or full-time van life.
