Special Bushing 6V Starter Drive onto 12V Starter Price: $30 Shipped in USA

Wanted to make my Own 12V starter with a 6V drive gear.
While some say to stack the bushings from both the 6&12V drive gears the bushings I had removed were too worn. I went down a rabbit hole searching for a one piece bushing.
Finally found some... 14mm OD x 11mm ID.
I support the DIY guys and most of us have the spare starters to do it and not spend the $250 in a hybrid starer. Also if you already have the 6V drive tool to install a new bushing into the bellhousing, you can use it to install these.
2 bushing are required for the 6V drive to run it on a 12v 11mm armature.
You will also need to buy the Empi 4027 conversion bushing to install into the bellhousing (Not Included) to make the 12V 11mm shaft work in your 6V transaxle.
The 311911023D SHORT style 12V starter is Not a candidate for the conversion. It uses a different type (shorter) drive and lever and has a shorter aluminum end housing.
