1970 vw bus, subaru engine & auto trans Price: $31500

No rust, all original California bus when bought 10 years ago..now has a Subaru drivetrain & cold a/c.
Drivetrain conversion:
2014 2.0 subaru 153hp engine, automatic subaru transmission, cruises 65-70 mph @2800 rpm, passes easy, holds the road, front disc brakes, new A/C, cruise control.
Engine is a JDM Japan import, 50k miles.
Transmission is subaru 4 speed automatic.
The swap to subaru included trans cooler, radiator, cooling fans, a/c condensor, performance axles, ect.
Conversion was performed at Low Pez Subaru Conversions in Dallas, TX.

Suspension work:
Steering, brakes, tie rod ends, ball joints, shocks, front & back brakes, ect have been addressed, tires have approx 3-4k miles.
Body/Interior:
Straight body, good paint, powder coated bumpers, original Westfalia interior intact with Z fold-out bed, closet, table, jump seat, stool, kitchen/sink cabinet was removed for more room, AM radio & tach work, a/c is a DPD under dash unit (a vintage dealer option) with new a/c lines, dryer, condenser, Vanagon rear heater.
Runs & drives good, got 26+ mpg on a 1500 mile round trip to Albuquerque in October for the Balloon Festival and back, has a trailer hitch (never used) but you could.
