This is an original vintage dealer frame, not a reproduction. Rare early-1960s era VW/Porsche dealership piece.

Original chrome in excellent condition
Original blue enamel lettering: LOS ANGELES / UNIVERSAL MOTOR CARS
VW logo on left, Porsche crest on right
No repairs, no repainting
Only minor storage marks on backside consistent with age
Front side presents beautifully
Authenticity:
The frame has the correct vintage casting stamp on the backside (round emblem with gear/tools design), used by period SoCal manufacturers who supplied dealer frames in the 1950s–1970s. Reproduction frames do not have this mark.
This is a 100% original dealer-issued frame from the Los Angeles VW/Porsche dealership. These rarely come up, especially in unused condition.
