1982 Volkswagen MK1 Rabbit Diesel LS project car or would make a good parts car. 1.6L diesel, GL code overdrive 4th 4 speed. Engine does run but will need the head replaced at the very least, has a crack on the exterior around the 2nd cylinder and has quite a bit of blow by. Have a video of it running to share. When running it did engage all gears but has not been driven around. Odometer shows 55,xxx miles but no idea if that is original to the car. Someone had replaced the head recently and did use ARP studs. Will need brake work from sitting a number of years. Tires are old and cracked but hold air. Pretty solid car overall, a few small rust spots here and there but far less than most, body has had quite a bit of bodywork in a few areas in the past, has an aftermarket sunroof that has been replaced with plexiglass. Interior is complete but shows the obvious signs of age. The majority of the electrical components did work when tested. Clean title in my name. Can send more photos. If you see this I have it.
