1959 Karmann Ghia drag car Price: 15,500
I bought this car around September of 2025. It was converted to a race car many years ago and raced for years in Arizona as the Aggression Ghia. (pic in the ad) This car is well known in the racing community. It was sold probably 10+ years ago and was passed around to many owners and never finished. When I got it, it was almost ready for paint with the original wheels. The engine and trans were long gone. I have the Arizona title and it was last titled in 1974. I built it for a giveaway car at my event Germanaire. We just had the event on the 22nd of November. The winner had a choice between this Ghia and a 1969 street legal Ghia. The winner chose the white Ghia. I would love to get this car in the hands of someone that wants to race it and understands that it is a full on race car. I installed a new race transmission with race axles. (specs on request) I had a friend build a mild 1835 for it. I added new carbs and a merged header from Dune Buggy Warehouse. It was fully rewired with a modern fuse box. I had it fully painted and we installed the Ron Lummus Ghia window kit. It is a turnkey race car that is ready to go for someone that is ready to bracket race. It is located in my garage in Charleston S.C. I can arrange shipping if needed. I have what I am asking for it in it in cash. I am not adding anything for labor or profit.
