I build hitches for many year buses (see other ads) but this is the early bay 1968 to 1971 model. . These bolt the the frame in the rear and the bumper and splash pans bolt to the hitch eliminating the original brackets. No cutting, welding or modifying anything on the bus. Only for 68 to 71 buses. Guaranteed only to fit with stock bus exhaust, A1 sidewider style and monza 4 tip style exhausts. May fit with other exhaust systems but I can't promise it. Use the drawing this ad to check for clearance. This will not fit any other year bus. The bumper bolts on with no modification. Mounting bolts are included and then you use your original bumper hardware to mount the bumper to the hitch.
I build a through bumper model for those who want more ground clearance but the bumper must be cut to use this model.
I do not have these ready to ship. I build them as the orders come in but I usually have them ready with in a week of the order.
2 inch receivers are the standard but I can make them with 1-1/4 inch if requested.

They come standard with a 2 inch receiver but I can make them with a 1-1/4 if that's what you want.
Note: some people are using them with collector headers but not all headers are the same and will most likely not work with the 2 inch reciever. I do make a through the bumper model for those who have an exhaust that interfere with the standard receiver location. You do have to cut the bumper with that style.
