Rare, original, Mattel Hot Wheels Car Crusher featuring a metallic purple, 1956 VW oval window Beetle. Mattel produced several versions of The Crusher, but only one with a metallic purple, Volkswagen Beetle making this is the rarest Crusher toy. Hot Wheels collectors know The Crusher was the only place to find this particular Hot Wheels Beetle VW model. Discontinued in 1988, but box printed to 1998. Box opened only for photos.
