NEW Barndoor/Split Beetle Armrests Price: $95 each

New armrests that I make. These are usually missing or rusted out. I needed a few for myself and could never find originals in good enough condition so I made some. 3 are needed for Barndoor Standard and Deluxe and Im not 100% on beetles but I think Splits and Ovals sometimes use one.

Progressive refinements lists that it was changed to this later style October 8 1952 (chassis # 20-035 603) for bus. I can only assume beetle would have changed somewhere in the same time.
these are ready to be painted/powdercoated and covered with your materials.

The metal portion(sold in this ad) is either painted or powdercoated black(your decision,PAINT AND POWDERCOATING NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AD)
Armrest is then covered in the materials to match your interior. Top of armrest uses a dense foam about 5/8"- 3/4" thick which is then covered with your material.
the perimeter of the foam is then surrounded by a plastic welt/piping.The bottom is then capped off with the remaining piece of the armrest to hold the outer material in place.This cap is not covered with material.it just fits in with friction ***********
