I started making ABS plastic interior VW panels over 39 years ago and the others, simply bought mine and copied off the excellent patterns as I spent up to a week each application to get the best fitting products.
Closing up my 49 years old business this month (Dec. '25) as heading to retirement BUT I always kept deep stock and sheets on hand. I will be transferring Werksberg Products ads to personal ads sometime in Jan. ‘26.

ABS Plastic with a hair cell texture Rear Hatch panel for 1976 – 1979 (14x hole panel)
These panels (like our lower front ABS Kick panels and other ABS Bus panels) have been described as "indestructible & fit perfectly"!
No more having to replace the press board door panels from water damage since the hatch that let in water (or the moisture in the air does it too).
The ABS material will stay Black even if you bang and gouge it unlike the vinyl covered panels. These ABS panels come with a scrap piece of the ABS material for you to test out plastic wax / protectants or test paint them with Krylon Fusion.
You can paint the ABS sheeting with Krylon Fusion plastic spray paint after washing the panels with rubbing alcohol and letting to fully dry. Or for the best painting results, take them to a paint & body shop for them to "Bull Dog" and paint them with flexible bumper paint.
The ABS plastic door panels can also be upholstery too by sanding the surface with 36 grit sand paper, spray contact cement on both ABS panel & material, let it tack up and apply them together just like normal upholstery process. Maybe even your original covers too?
